Design Competition

design-image“EWH identifies health care challenges specific to the developing world and what new technologies might deliver the most positive impact for their patients.”

The annual design competition allows students to make a difference in the lives of millions without stepping foot outside of the country.  EWH’s annual design competition brings together engineering students and industry professionals in order to identify and solve problems within the healthcare of developing nations.  The “Projects that Matter” list is a collection of design challenges; this list includes legacy projects that have been started but never completed, as well as new projects that have never been worked on.  A cash prize of $3000 is given to the first place team. For more information on the design competition, see the EWH National Website!
